Time awaits for no man (or woman)

Time awaits for no man  (or Woman ) Edition 2

Time awaits for no man  (or Woman ) Edition 1

For this mini movie subject, I have used a my kitchen clock to demonstrate  the basic principle for this assignment of stop frame photography, to do this I photographed  the large hand  as I moved the hand's position  every five minutes to make up the hour, it took twelve images to make up this hour
The software I used for both mini movies was the basic Window's Movie Maker on vista.
As you can see I did two version of the same movie with title "Time awaits for no man (or woman )".
In edition 1 I used basic tools to make this version.
In edition 2 I used extra tools to enhance the movie with special effects, this turned out to be better movie then edition 1.
The equipment that  I used for the images to start the process consist of:
Sony A350 DSLR camera with 16-80 mm Carl Ziess Lens.
Tripod .
Remote Control lead.
The location again was in my flat.

Evaluation on the mini movies.
Both movies "timepiece Edition 1 & 2" and "the short journey by  Landrover in ToyTown" went well, as for doing any type of research in to this type of assignment I did not do a lot of it and I certainly  did not see any reason at all for loading down other peoples work, as I understood what was needed,  after being through some of the  previous lessons, all I needed was a subject that was original in thought for it to work, showing the technique of using  the movie maker software, editing and adding titles and credits, special effects and sound.
This has been an enjoyable assignment as I had not done this kind of  photography before, its certainly has given me an appetite to do some more in the future.
as for making any changes to the two subjects done, no I don't thinks so I am more than satisfied with what I have done.

Short Journey By Landrover in Toytown

This short film took me ages to make due to inexperience in the use of the windows movie maker software  but once I got the hang  of it. I did enjoy producing my final movie film.
having spent a lot of time trying to think of a suitable subject which incorporate the following text editing, credits and music.
I finally decided on borrowing and using my nephew's  road rug which he had as a young child, with a toy land-rover with trailer (thats mine), the location for this epic adventure was in my flat in the lounge here I set my camera (Sony A350 DSLR and 16-80mm lens) on tripod I used manual exposure setting to ensure  the exposure was even through out the scenes. I took at least 40 images and after editing the images on my Photoshop elements 9 finally settling on around 30, which I  used in the final cut.
